Boast in the mix at Short Track TT

In one of the toughest and most fiercely fought rounds of the Pozzani British Short Track Championhsip, Team Suzuki GB rider, Pete Boast, battled to one of his best finishes of the season at the weekend, as round six of the championship hosted the one-off TT race format.

John Laverty dug deep this weekend to be within touching distance of the top six championship contenders. With the first of three races on Saturday evening, the action got underway in good conditions, but, just five laps in the heavens opened and the race was stopped, and re-ran over 14 laps. Sam Lowes' challenge for the 2010 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship remained on track at Brands Hatch today when the GNS Racing rider took another second place to claim his seventh podium of the season and maintain his lead in the title race with just four rounds remaining.

Tough but promising Foxhill rides for MVR-D Suzuki

Round five of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship, held at the renowned Foxhill track near Swindon, proved to be a tough but promising event for MVR-D Suzuki riders Matiss Karro and Carl Nunn, with Karro narrowly missing out on an MX2 podium and Nunn back inside the top-ten.

Challenging July so far for Danny King Racing

Not a great month so far for Danny in terms of team and personal performances, as his Ipswich side have continued their struggle in the Sky Sports Elite League and meetings abroad remain limited. DKR Racing - The season so far - June update

Danny endured a mixed bag of emotions during June 2010 as his domestic club Ipswich Witches continued to struggle in British Speedway. This was especially evident away from Foxhall as defeats were the norm whilst an emotional night at the Sky Sports televised British Final at Wolverhampton saw the Huntingdon based racer grab himself a second reserve berth in the British Grand Prix at Cardiff.

Snetterton Podium Increases Series Lead For Lowes

GNS Racing's Sam Lowes put in another excellent ride in round seven of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship as he finished in second place at Snetterton today. The 19-year-old challenged for the lead of the race throughout but eventually settled for second place and 20 points to substantially extend his lead at the top of the Championship table.

Round 4 Pozzani Silkolene ShorttrackUK Championship

Jacopo Monti was in outstanding form to win Round 4 of Pozzani Silkolene Shorttrackuk at Stoke Speedway Stadium on Saturday. The Italian Monti who made the long trip to Stoke from his home town of Tradate in Italy was in blistering form. He won his heat races and Semi final to put himself on pole for the Grand Final. Lowes takes victory at Knockhill

GNS Racing Sam Lowes put in a faultless ride at Knockhill today when he took his second win of the year in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship on the 600cc Honda. Having taken the lead on the eighth lap, the 19-year-old pulled rapidly away from the rest of the pack to secure his second win of the year and take a 15-point lead in the Championship table.

Lowes battles to Cadwell podium

GNS Racing's Sam Lowes fought valiantly at Cadwell Park today to finish in a close third place in round four of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship. The 19-year-old from Lincoln had been battling a stomach bug all weekend but dug deep at his home round to claim 16 hard-earned points and hold on to second place in the Championship table.

Mixed Fortunes for Jimmy Hill and Josh Caygill

It was mixed fortunes for the MAP Centurion Triumph team at round two of the Metzeler National Superstock 600 Championship at Thruxton circuit.
